One of the best TV Shows, ever. Espionage, murder, fencing, dragons, incestuous relationship... Game of thrones covers about everything. All those creepy and taboo subjects. With excellent production, masterful epic costumes and masks we easy forget that the main characters live their daily lives outside the movie set. Lets see who they are in real life.

1. Jack Gleeson or as you all know him as Joffrey Baratheon

Jack is a student at Trinity College in Dublin and a co-founder of Collapsing Horse, a production company. "Monster/Clock: A Play on Time" was the recent puppet production performed at the Smock Alley Theatre in Dubin, Spring, 2012. He was the puppeteer for the lead character, Toby. He is born in 1992. This sweet guy is playing a major prick in the show. All I can say he is a great actor.

2. Lena Headey or "mother dear" Cersei Lannister

Lena Headey is a British actress who is best known for her appearances in The Brothers Grimm (2005), Possession (2002), and The Remains of the Day (1993). Headey stars as Queen Gorgo, a heroic Spartan woman in the period film 300 (2006), by director Zack Snyder. This PETA member is playing a controversial person. Relationship with your brother doesn't sound good.

3. Peter Dinklage or Tyrion Lannister

Personaly, my favorite! He is amazing in every scene and I love the character he is playing! Peter Dinklage was born in Morristown, New Jersey. In 1991, he received a degree in drama from Bennington College and began his career. He continues to work in the theatre with roles in "The Killing Act", "Imperfect Love", and "Richard III". He has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism in which the body is perfectly formed but the bones initially modelled in cartilage, the long bones of the arms and legs, do not grow long enough. Velázquez painted a fine portrait of a man with this condition which hangs in the Prado in Madrid. Peter is a vegetarian. Anytime you see him eating a meat product on screen, it is a tofu product (such as the tofu "beef" jerky, in The Station Agent (2003)). Son of an elementary school music teacher and retired insurance salesman. Both parents are of average height, as is older brother, John, a violinist. For his role on Game of Thrones (2011) (TV) , named one of the "Eight Actors Who Turn Television into Art," in cover story of The New York Times Magazine.

4. Maisie Williams a true tomboy Arya Stark

She's feisty, a bit of a rebel, a tomboy, she is also quite brave and quick thinking, she wants to be listened too but sees everything very black and white...a little bit like real Maisie is. This 15 y.o. actress has been dancing for 4 years and does Musical Theatre, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Street and Freestyle as well as gymnastics and trampolining.

5. Michelle Fairley playing Catelyn Stark

Born in Coleraine, Northern Ireland to well known publicans Theresa and Brian Fairley, she grew up in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland she appeared in a range of British television shows including The Bill, Holby City and Heartbeat. One of her earlier roles was as murderess Cathy Michaels on ITV1's Inspector Morse in the episode titled "The Way Through The Woods".

6. Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark

In her first and so far only role in front of a camera, Turner plays Sansa Stark, the eldest daughter of House Stark in the 2011 HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones. She dyes her blonde hair red for the role, which she says lets her avoid attention in public. Turner was born in Northampton and moved to Warwick when she was two years old. There, she attended Warwick Prep School until the age of 11. Turner wanted to be an actress from a young age, and joined her local theatre group at the age of 3. She later moved on to Kings High School in Warwick.

7. Kit Harington playing John Snow

His full name is Christopher Catesby Harington. Landed the role of Albert Narracott in the play War Horse while still at drama school. Wanted to be a cameraman, a war correspondent and a journalist when he was young. His mother Deborah is a preschool teacher and his father David owns a book store. Has a brother, John. He wore a wig for filming the "Game of Thrones" (2011) pilot but grew his hair out for the rest of the first season.

8. Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen

Emilia was born in England and grew up in Berkshire. Her father is a theater sound engineer and her mother is a business woman. Her father was working on a theater production of Show Boat, and Emilia's mother took her along to the performance. This is when, at the age of 3, her passion for drama began. See what she has to say about the character she is playing: "I felt for her situation as a woman. Being in such a male-dominated society, where she was being abused by the men around her - it was that sort of sympathy, I suppose it started off as that. But then as you track her story, the problems that she overcomes and the way that she deals with them with such grace and the way that she deals with them when she has no training. The only thing that she has is herself and her iron will - that's just a fabulous, incredible side to her character, really. And the fact that you watch her fall in love. You know, she meets the man that she loves more than anything else. She goes through painful events but she is still this strong, independent woman. And I think that, as a female, is what I really connected with."

9. Iain Glen the loyal Ser Jorah Mormont

Iain Glen graduated from (where he was the winner of the Bancroft medal) RADA. He has appeared onstage as "Macbeth" (Tron Theatre), "Henry V" (Royal Shakespeare Company), starred in "Martin Guerre" and, recently, in "The Blue Room" with Nicole Kidman. He also received much acclaim for his role in "Silent Scream". He and his wife, Susannah Harker ("House of Cards" (1990), "Pride and Prejudice" (1995), "Ultraviolet" (1998)) have a son, Finlay.

10. Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy

Alfie Evan Allen, son of Keith Allen and Alison Owen and younger brother of Lilly Allen. The subject of the song "Alfie", final track on his sister Lily Allen's debut album "Alright, Still".

These are my favorite ones. My list of the best played roles in Game of thrones. I haven't put them in right order if I did Peter would be my No. 1! Anyhow, the story about seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue is pervasive. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard, Lord Stark, to serve as Hand of the King, or highest official. Secretly warned that the previous Hand was assassinated, Eddard accepts in order to investigate further. Meanwhile the Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take power. Across the sea, the last members of the previous and deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also scheming to regain the throne. The friction between the houses Stark, Lannister and Baratheon, and with the remaining great houses Greyjoy, Tully, Arryn, and Tyrell, leads to full-scale war. All while a very ancient evil awakens in the farthest north. Amidst the war and political confusion, a neglected military order of misfits, the Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and icy horrors beyond. I am sure you will watch it and get caught in Game of thrones mania!
